Is "La Futura" Here Today?

The Restaurateurs Association of Great Britain created a virtual restaurant on video named "Café La Futura." Café La Futura depicts the dining experience that may await British guests in the year 2020 if attitudes don't change for the better:

"Food police prowl the floor, the waiters look like astronauts in their 'hygiene suits' and ask" if guests have been given menus for "low risk, high risk, or the Menu for Those Challenged with Personal Obesity." Guests are made to step on a scale before being allowed to order a steak; pregnant women are not permitted to order alcohol; and sharp utensils are blunted in order to avoid injury.

The Executive Director of the Association told The London Times every situation parodied at the Café La Futura is based on a current regulation in England or the United States.

The video was created to protest the overwhelming number of absurd regulations that restaurants must follow.
