Radical activists opposed to genetically engineered (GE) foods and the consumption of meat have declared today “A National Day of Action Against State Repression” and are planning to stage “militant demonstrations” at U.S. federal buildings in Portland (OR), Sacramento, San Diego, Minneapolis, Denver, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Charlotte (NC), Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Embassy in London.
Triggering today’s protests is a grand jury investigation of Earth Liberation Front/Animal Liberation Front spokesman Craig Rosebraugh and his alleged links to an arson attack which destroyed a regional office of Boise Cascade Corp. last Christmas.
