Junk Science Running Amok

Based on a new study, Grace Wyshak, an associate professor at the Harvard School of Public Health, contends that girls who drink soda aren’t getting enough milk and are therefore more likely to break bones. Of course, the study does not specify how much soda the girls drink nor does it mention how much milk they drink. Anti-soda activists at the Center for Science in the Public Interest have come to the professor’s defense. Not really a surprise when one considers Wyshak works directly with CSPI sympathizer and anti-soda activist Walter Willett.

Meanwhile, Willett’s co-worker and fellow CSPI sympathizer George Blackburn blames rising obesity rates partly on restaurant serving sizes.
