Chefs Serving Up Anxiety Pie

The Los Angeles Times blasts “Bitter Harvest,” a new book by Chefs Collaborative board member Ann Cooper. Cooper and her co-author Lisa M. Holmes try to convey the Chefs’ “eat organic, eat locally produced food, eat in season” message along with all of the group’s unfounded fears of corporate agriculture and biotechnology. The Times says, “In their bombardment, they fail to make one convincing point about one subject. Rather, they serve us anxiety pie.”
