Another Fear Dispelled

Anti-choice nannies have argued that genetically improved crops may stray from fields and crowd out natural species, but a new study finds that just won’t happen. “For those members of the public who have feared that all transgenic crops are going to be terrible invasive weeds, this research shows that simply is not the case,” said Norm Ellstrand, professor of genetics at the University of California at Riverside.
