After-School Scare

Yesterday we told you how PETA is trying to scare children out of drinking milk. Now, the militant animal rights group is trying to frighten kids where they should feel protected — at school.

PETA was denied permission to send an activist dressed as a corncob into a Houston elementary school to preach a medically dubious “vegan” (that’s no meat, no dairy) diet to growing children. But PETA did not surrender. The group, which has given money to the FBI-certified terrorist group Earth Liberation Front, sent the school principal’s name to its supporters, and organized a rally “just off campus after school” — to shout propaganda at students as they leave school.

“Not to be defeated in the quest to have children clamor for a humane and healthy diet,” PETA plans to send “Colonel Corn” to harass children at schools in Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, and Shreveport as well.
