The Boston Globe quoted Neal Barnard of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM) on a new study of the healthiness of eating hot dogs. The Globe calls PCRM a “group that advocates better nutritional habits to prevent disease,” but in reality PCRM is a PETA-funded animal rights front group with ties to the violent extremist group SHAC.
So what did “responsible” Barnard have to say? “Forget the moderation myth… Moderation does not apply to cigarettes, heroin, or hot dogs. It’s easier to make a clean break.”
