The pot thickens

Good news! If you haven’t sharpened your colored pencils yet, you still have time to enter our “PETA’s True Colors” art contest. Send us your idea of an accurate, truthful design for PETA’s emblematic elephant statue, and you could win a prize package worth over $500.

We’ve received a number of requests to extend the contest deadline to the end of the month — you twisted our arms, and we’re happy to oblige. The official deadline for the contest is now October 1. All entries must be postmarked by that date in order to qualify.

In addition to the great prizes already on offer, we’re pleased to announce that Fur Commission USA (an organization that represents fur farmers all across the country) has graciously donated a genuine mink teddy bear, which we are adding to the Grand Prize package. So let’s see those ideas, America… Dust off those Crayolas and show us what you think of PETA!
