This week, as millions of children head back to school, U.S. News & World Report features on its back cover a Center for Consumer Freedom advertisement warning parents about People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) and its insidious efforts to target children with violent propaganda.
A column in this weekend’s Baltimore Sun discussed our latest report, “Your Kids, PETA’s Pawns.” After detailing PETA’s efforts to brainwash children, education writer Mike Bowler asks: “Don’t kids have enough on their minds without having to worry about eating — and wearing — their ‘friends?’” Exactly right. There’s no reason for children to deal with activists handing out “buckets of blood” or lectures about veganism from convicted felons.
PETA is waging an all-out assault on American children. From cradle to college and beyond, PETA uses violent images and slick PR campaigns to attract kids to their “cult” of animal rights. For more information on PETA’s campaign to get at your kids, check out our ad in em>US News & World Report and
