Last week People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) got a chilly reception from Canadian officials who shut down its outrageous “Holocaust on Your Plate” campaign in Toronto. Denied a permit for Toronto’s largest public square, PETA activists relocated to a city park where police quickly shut them down. PETA’s graphic roving exhibit features life-sized photos comparing Nazi Holocaust victims to cows and chickens.
Commenting on the display, Canadian Jewish Congress Executive Director Bernie Farber said simply:
“It’s the most offensive piece of crap I’ve ever seen in my life.”
