Anti-choice groups are targeting hog farms in pollution lawsuits. One lawyer retained for the case called modern hog farms “animal concentration camps.” From all appearances, this is nothing more than another Fenton Communications’ (the group that brought you the now thoroughly debunked Alar scare) run campaign to disparage corporate agriculture in favor of the small, organic farmers that support Fenton fronted groups Environmental Defense, Sierra Club, Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy, and Natural Resources Defense Council.
