Luckily, the Center for Consumer Freedom defended St. Nick and his bowl full of jelly on ABC’s World News over the weekend, asking:
Are we going to melt a few pounds off Frosty the Snowman? Or what about the Easter Bunny? He’s looking kind of chubby.
This latest food cop campaign may be seeing a backlash against its shrill rhetoric and Big Brother agenda. Hopefully, that attitude will spread to other nanny-like initiatives such as fast food zoning, menu labeling, and outright food bans. It’s time for the public to push back. As we told ABC viewers: “This is really getting out of control.”
