"If you did a risk assessment for a peanut today, it would not necessarily be approved," says Greg Jaffe of the Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI). Luckily, CSPI wasn't around when peanuts first hit the market. We can only wonder what other modern food advances have been derailed by the health nannies at CSPI and beyond.
