Washington — PETA’s attempt to convince Al-Jazeera TV to run their latest animal rights ad is simply the latest evidence of the organization’s shameless tactics to promote the lives of animals over those of humans.
Richard Berman, executive director of The Center for Consumer Freedom, highlights in a guest commentary in today’s edition of USA Today how the animal rights movement of today is no longer about shelters for stray dogs and cats, but a movement of increasingly extreme rhetoric and violent crimes that is draining precious FBI resources away from the war on terror.
An FBI terrorism task force chief in Pennsylvania recently said: “On the domestic front, we have enough that keeps us busy with the Earth Liberation Front and the Animal Liberation Front … That, in and of itself, is enough to justify the [joint terrorism] task force.”
